Nozomi Ishiguro Tambourine S/S 2013 | Psycho Killer | Japan Fashion Week

Nozomi Ishiguro's runway will always have a killer soundtrack. Last year's brilliantly red Haute Couture A/W 2011-2012 was set to the Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Al Dubin. Now Nozomi Ishiguro Tambourine Spring 2013 is seen playing to the tune of Psycho Killer by Talking Heads. The collection deviates from dark slasher edginess to an eclectic mix of sheer, knit and floral palette.

The collection is dark edgy slash with floral prints bursting on the seams. It presents something very different from the clash of floral prints we see everywhere. I am particularly fond of the slashed pullovers, distressed knits layered with sheer fabric, garden floral print and mannish brogues.

A most interesting take on the floral print trend gradually given a lighter mood with a shift of palette from black to cream, brightened up by floral print everywhere. It is apparent even in menswear how this is no shrinking violet - even for men in floral print. Its inspiring.
